ICS Testbed

• The purpose of the testbed is for attack simulation, exploit research and training.
• The design of the testbed shall simulate a real world ICS process.
• The national grid system will supply electricity to the entire city and the water distribution plant.
• Pumps in the water distribution plants will supply water to the entire city and be collected to the wastewater tanks, the wastewater tanks will be simulated to treat water and supply back to the clean water tank.
• The water system will be monitored by water level sensors, water pressure on the pipeline, water temperature and water flow to ensure the safety of the system.
• Pressure reducing valves will be installed on the pipeline, controlled by PLC to reduce the pressure on the pipeline to avoid danger.
• Backup generators will be activated when the national grid system is affected, and the backup generators will only supply electricity to the water plant.
